The upstairs level was significantly hotter than the lower levels. I hired Adelphia Exteriors to install blown-in insulation in attic when they had a $99 for $500 credit special. The additional cost was $1500 so total was $1600, a very competitive price. We only had 6in to start and now have 18in. This included a barrier against the interior ceiling so insulation doesn't spread into outlying crevices. He was great. We didn’t go forward with it, since he didn’t recommend removing insulation and we got a different estimate that did who we decided to use. However, we liked him and would definitely consider using Adelphia again. I bought a Big Deal for $99 for $500 Worth of Blown-In Environmentally Safe Attic Insulation.
Adelphia Exteriors came out to measure my window and complete the insulation job as contracted. They were prompt, courteous, considerate of my home, clean, and expeditious and not to forget that they did an amazing job!. Adelphia Exteriors was very professonal from the start. They honored the add placed in Angies list for a discount on attic installation. The job was completed in early November 2014. The technician arrived on time and he and his assistant finished the job in about 2 hours. They used the proper equipment and covered my floor and steps and left my house in good condition with no mess upon leaving. Overall, great service. I bought the $100 for $500 of blown in insulation from Adelphia Exteriors and am very pleased. From the first contact to the end result, great job. George showed up on time for the inspection and attic recommendation. Like most homes, we had the code minimum that has settled overtime. It went very well. Overall, I am very satisfied. Although the advertisement is a bit misleading, the representative from Adelphia explained everything to me ensuring I clearly understood what was involved with the discount from Angie's List. The overall discount was $500.00, which made the deal very economical. It was great. George came to my house and gave me a primer on insulation. with a slide presentation. What I didn't know about insulation!. He did an extensive inspection of my attic, noting I had no signs of mold or insects. We discussed what I would need to provide adequate insulation. They came and provided an estimate. The final estimate was much higher than we expected. The $500 was actually a discount towards the full price for the insulation, not the cost for the insulation service. For instance, the total price offered was $2,300 and $500 coupon was applied, and the final price was $1,800. I felt the coupon was not very clear with the offer. .
