While the food was good , this was the WORST of any GH delivery . It took nearly an HOUR for delivery of a SALAD!!!! When the order eventually did show up there were NO utensils, NO napkins just 1 salad (which took an hour to prepare/deliver) I can understand during lunch hour rush having some delay in fulfilling an order in a timely manner. At 1:30 pm I think it's a safe bet to say that the lunch rush is over. Consider this my notice to NEVER utilize Alamo Café in the future for any of my delivery needs
I will not be ordering for this restaurant or through Grubhub again. The order was incorrect. The driver told me to contact the restaurant & the restaurant told me to contact Grubhub which I did not because it just was not worth the effort.
We had delivery from Alamo Cafe last week and everything tasted great. Today we ordered the same queso and salsa, and it was too spicy to eat. Wasted money and food. We called the restaurant and other people were also calling to complain about the same thing.
Driver knocked three times and I told him thank you and to just leave the food. After giving him time to walk away I opened the door to find the driver not only still there, but not wearing a law required face mask. We had always requested contactless delivery and that is always respected until this time. The food made me sick.
I am not happy. Whose fault is it, I do not know. Our order was wrong. My husband’s birthday dinner order. And what was wrong was the food for our kids to make matters worse. Order arrived with no cheeseburger meal at all. Also, instead of a burrito meal we received an enchilada meal. So whose fault is this? Order was incorrect again. The street taco plate is supposed to come with rice and beans. I asked for guacamole and sour cream for the beef fajitas and was NOT given extra salsa and chips. Some of this was specifically asked for in special instructions, but the rice and beans were standard on the street taco plates. Once again Alamo screwed up the order. Grub hub was fine it's Alamo that screwed it up
Driver delivered the food to the wrong house. I had to call her twice to get it corrected.
The lid wasn't placed properly on the boraccho beans. Everything in the bag was covered in juice, and there was none left in the container. Very disappointing.
