I wouldn't have this security company put an alarm any house I owned unless it was an outhouse.

Another example of a company sacrificing service to make a few extra pennies. There are constant issues with our alarm system (monthly)-so I am in constant contact with their employees. They skimp on the amount of field technicians they hire-so scheduling windows are absurd. I feel bad for the technicians and customer service employees that are set up to fail. They have to face the actual customers in the field while someone behind the curtain makes the calls to keep employment levels low and certain incomes high.

System keeps going out, call and they fix it for a day, keeps going out. Horrible customer service and doesn't work. Recommend going with a better company even if it costs a few extra dollars, has to be worth it to not deal with these guys!

I had a 3 year contract - go to cancel and state that per contract I have to send email. Did that, no response. Call again.....say that I didn't cancel in time......now have to keep service for another full year. It was, however, noted in the contract of the auto-renewal. Jimmy with Central Security Group reached out to me and we were able to resolve the issues I had.

Due to bad service from AT&T, I switched to another internet provider forcing me to cancel my Guardian Security account. I never experienced any issues with Guardian Security in 13 years of service and their pricing is very reasonable.

I attempted to cancel my service with Central a few months back, unfortunately all I did was cancel my monitoring while I was still being charged monthly for a service I was no longer receiving. When I called to ask for a refund for the months that I paid for service that I was not receiving I was told that the auto renewed contract stipulated that I had to pay the full length of the contract. I am not sure about any of you that might be reading this but I would be very careful of signing a contract with this company.

WILL LEAVE YOU UNPROTECTED A phone tech misdiagnosed my issue. After the issue was correctly diagnosed by another phone tech, a repair tech couldn't perform the repairs on their warrantied security system for a week, leaving my business unprotected. They then charge a $25 "trip fee" for repairs on their warrantied equipment. As an option, they offered "ASAP next day repairs" for $150.00. I'll be changing as soon as my contract expires. The worst experience ever. Equipment installed incorrectly which caused the tech and myself to be locked in the house while they tried to figure out how to leave. I was patient however I should have been wary then. Fixed that but the house was broken into and the alarm never went off or I wasn't contacted. It's an empty house so system has not been used since February, one month after the equipment installed. Now the equipment is out of warranty, 3 months, and they want $125 for the service charge, $150 to expedite service,... read more
