If there was a way I could rate AMS a .2 star I would! The worst moving experience hands down! From the beginning we didn't receive the type of service we were promised from the sales department and that is mentioned on your website when I booked the move. Some of the issues we had are: 1. I needed to move to a more wheelchair friendly and assisted. I had a 2 bedroom apt. and moved approx. 20 miles. Took 5 hrs to pack me and had to stop and put some stuff in storage. Remember I said I had a 2 bedroom. We get to storage room, before they unloaded the stuff for storage, they present me with a bill I could hardly believe. This is by far the most horrible moving company I have EVER dealt with. They are unprofessional, rude, and careless. They moved my in-laws a distance of 10 miles and managed to break SEVERAL pieces of furniture. Most of which is completely beyond repair and many of those pieces were treasured antiques. All My Sons also managed to damage parts of my in-laws old house (which they had already closed on), and they damaged several other household items. I used this company to move and the customer service to get my business was great with all kinds of promises. However, During the move, this was the most unprofessional group of people & company. You expect a moving company to be experts in moving and know how to not damage furniture. This was not the case! Several pieces of our furniture were damaged and couldn't be repaired. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. This was the WORST moving experience ever. My family has moved professionally over 15 times and not once before have we had an experience as poor as this. They lie about everything. The employees (whom "own" the company) are disgruntled with each other an complain about each other to customers. The dispatcher is rude and has no customer service skills. Totally left hanging. Supposed to be there at 9am and didn't get a call till 3pm that they weren't coming. Then told that they probably couldn't get me tomorrow either. What the heck am I supposed to do? This moving company will tell you that you are on 2 run regardless if they have the staff to actually move you that day. I'm used other companies with no serious issues and this one pretty much told me to shove off. I'm appalled how unhelpful Doug in the McKinney branch was. Absolutely terrible. They are the customer, not you. Never again! Don't show up as scheduled, workers are weak and tired, workers are mad at their boss. Only concerned about customers paying up front.
Hated this move. They had no dollies no blankets walked like they were tired or handicapped . Didn't show up til after 9:00 at night . Finally loaded and told me no unload til next day cause it was too late. I had to sleep on floor with no pillow nothing. Next day they showed up and made me pay in full before they would unload . Disaster ! Not one person on truck was related to anyone in business . No father and no sons. Warning!!!!!
I do not recommend All My Sons Moving Company. They charged a low income veteran an astronomical fee for 2 blocks of moving. Do not use these guys. They are rip off & take way to long. They lost 2 of my boxes.
