One word. AWFUL. AMS claims to take the stress out of moving, but they did just the opposite. I booked them two months ahead before my move and I gotta tell ya - their sale people are straight cons. Closer to my moving day, I received no CALLS, no time frame other than "you're the second move of the day". SERIOUSLY? I don't have all day to sit around and wait. Left house not finished. Move was $20,000. They showed me a catalog of doors being padded and floor coverings. None of which happened. They had 4 days to move me and it's not complete.
I'll be honest, I fell for the "family-owned business," but they are ruthless! I placed a $100 deposit and they said it's an afternoon move and they will be there btw 12-3. With that being said, they decided to show up at 9am without ANY notice. I was working and was going to take a half a day in the PM to move. The employees were great, the took care in making sure all my items were wrapped and secured. My issues is in my contract it said I would have a 26 foot truck. They showed up with a 20 foot truck. Because of this they had to make two trips instead of 1. Being charged for that second trip it not right. Your company is the one that messed up and sent a 20 foot truck. If I could give them 0 starts I would , I don't have time to type in everything that went wrong because literally everything went wrong , do not recommend at all you will spent all your money and on top of that they are going to break your stuff , this is my first time leaving a review of any matter , imagine how bad it was.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They tell you anything to get your deposit. I was promised the $189/hr covered gas/mileage and supplies used to cover appliances etc. When I was called to schedule specific times for the move, the day before, I was told I would get charged an extra hour at $189 for their drive plus 16% of the total cost for gas. When I told the representative Sami I received conflicting information he canceled my appointment. Very unprofessional, arrogant and rude.
Hired All My Sons Moving & Storage to move my small office. Fortunately I signed a not to exceed dollar amount contract. The day of the move came, and they had 3 movers instead of the 4 contracted for and I was assured that the 4th would show up anytime, which he never did. Well needless to say, the move went a lot slower than planned which caused a major inconvenience and time and cost to have an employee present. They do not keep their word about anything...make sure you get it in writing. I was expecting this move to be about 750.00 to 800.00, however it was 1200.00 dollars. The manager (Anthony) stated if I give them a good rating for the move he would let me pay just the 800.00 which was suppose to include 100.00 dollar deposit I made the day before. I agreed...so I paid 800.00 and he was suppose to refund the 100.00 deposit which he stated would take 5 to 7 days. I have waited several weeks for the refund even disputing with my b... read more
