A lot of damage done to my furniture & floors & walls in both houses. was quoted .5 drive time both ways & was charged 1. drive time both ways. paid for a lot of wasted tape & supplies that they charged me for. left me in a mess & had to hire other people to finish putting tv on stands, moving curio cabinets & top on roll top desk.
Warning! Do NOT use All My Sons moving company. Hidden fees totalling almost $500 despite me clearly asking ahead of time what the charges would be and getting confirmation that there were no other fees. I was just forced to pay out an excessive amount over my quoted price for hidden fees. They charged me $150 for "packing materials" because they had to use plastic wrap on every piece of my furniture. The biggest scam company ever. completely unprofessional, more so the owners/ managers than the laborers. 6 items (all but one was already broken down and pulled into the main room) took 2 people over 3 hrs and then they tried to charge for just about any and everything which had not been explained in original quote. Quoted $240 plus taxes... turned into $524. After arguing long enough it dropped to $333. Furniture was also damaged in the process. DO NOT USE
They confirmed a couple days before and called 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to cancel. Very unprofessional and left us in a bind. Other moving companies need at least two weeks notice to have fit us in so we had to rent a Uhaul and do it ourselves in already distressing pandemic times. Very disappointing. There was no good explanation for it. Save your money and the headache...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Beware of using this company. My mother scheduled a move several months ago. They confirmed the move yesterday and then cancelled on her today - the day of move! I’ve seen many several complaints on their company yet they are still advertising for business.
BUYER BEWARE!!! This company is unprofessional on so many levels. They caused damage to a friends property and hurt her in the process. They are disrespectful and have no clue how to run a business and fix their mistakes. Called me the day of the move and cancelled. Not only did they cancel an hour before they were suppose to arrive, they were rude about it. This is suppose to be a Christian based company, don’t be fooled , it’s only a front.
The moving crew employees abandoned us today on our planned moving day. I showed them the big things I wanted move and then they declined saying something smelled. Next my wife is on the phone with someone telling her there's blood on our carpet and that's why they declined and abandoned us. When my wife asked for a refund, someone hung up on her. Really needing someone to call us and really just make things right. This is a nightmare customer service experience.
We signed on for a pack and move with an estimate of around 2k. Since my husband has had 3 back surgeries, we felt it would be worth it to save his back. We ended up packing 95% of our belongings ourselves. We are diligent people so all closets and bathrooms were completely empty as well as most items except furniture from all 4 bedrooms upstairs....before the movers arrived.
