We hired this company to move us and they were the most unprofessional people. They severely damaged walls, floors and banisters in our old house as well as our new house. They broke several of our items because they did not properly pack them in the moving truck. They also damaged several of our personal belongings since they loaded them improperly on their delivery truck. They also stole cash and several of our belongings never made it into our new home that we saw loaded onto the moving truck.
We were so bummed and would not recommend to anyone at this time. We bought all of the recommended packaging supplies, mattress bags, etc. The movers dropped our bed frame on the driveway as they were carrying it in. They removed the protective mattress covering we purchased while it was still on the truck so the mattress was dirty when brought into our home. They dropped the piano inside the house, damaging the floor. They damaged, scratched, and put dings in our bed, dresser, bookshelf, and piano. They put small holes and ... read more
It was a horrible experience. The sales guy came to my house to give an estimate for packing and moving. Not even remotely close to being accurate. They didn’t send enough trucks. There is probably a whole truck load of stuff sitting at my house. I asked if they would reassemble furniture when it was moved in ( like the beds) I was told yes. Robbed me blind. Two of the employees were picked up in middle of my move and took $3,000- $5,000 worth of my belongings. I have cried everyday since the move realizing what they have taken. I feel completely violated. My winter shoes gone. My children's heirlooms (grandpa's coins)gone. Alexia's gone. Bedroom comforter gone. And the list goes on. I am disgusted with this company and their employees.
RecommendedYesterday, we had Richard, Travis and Trey. for the amount of crap they had to put up with from the costumers son, they did great!!!! Kept their cool while being insulted. (I lost it on the consumers son defending these men) Great composer yesterday! not a lot of male employees that would've kept their mouth shut like the way you did!!!!!!!! (the paying costumer even apologized for her 50 something year old sons behavior.)
All my sons I contacted this company to move some large furniture units I didn’t want broken. I explained this to the first person I spoke with and he assured me that they could move the items. I was contacted again to confirm the appointment and what I wanted moved. I thought everything was good but when they came to move us, they told me that they in fact, could not move the things I had wanted done in the first place! Flat pack furniture can not be moved. The movers did not wrap or protect any of our furniture and damaged almost every piece they moved. In addition they took apart a foosball table and when we received at our other house most of the pieces were missing. Finally, they came onsite and reviewed our moving needs and gave us a job estimate of $3,256. The job actually cost us $5,570.09. I would never use again.
When giving quotes a few dollars for supplies or additional time is to be expected. My quote was a $100 difference than what I was charged. Hourly rate trip charge of course I get it the only supply that us used was some shrink rap maybe $10 worth????
We had amazing movers. Jamal, TJ, Trey, and Milton did a wonderful job. But I am very disappointed that our move was not set up correctly. After paying over $2000 for moving help I had to rent a U-haul for the rest of my house that is still full of items and a garage full of boxes and items that I need to move.
