Where do I even begin? We called to get a quote & were told that the rate would be $139 per hour. We booked the service and paid a $100 deposit. We weren’t sent an email with a contract or anything upon paying the deposit. The movers were supposed to arrive from 8-9 a.m. They called to let us know that they were at another job and would be here after they finished. They didn’t arrive until 12:35 p.m. and were here until 1:21 p.m. as my husband and I (31 weeks pregnant) had already unloaded most of our items. The two men that... read more
Called to advise us they would be 4 hours late. Because we had to vacate today, we began moving everything we could on our own. When they arrived we had 13 items for them to move. They charged us a minimum two hour fee, even though it was their fault they were late. They also charged for 30 minutes in the car to and from their office, which is 5.8 miles away and charged $90 for gas for the travel. Total to move the 13 items over a 90 minute time was $762. Our brand new $2000 fridge was taken out of the manufacturers packaging by these so-called “professional” movers so there was absolutely no damage on it at all. Instead of removing the doors to get it up the porch stairs and into the house they forced it through. Scratching the entire side, denting one of the 3 doors in multiple places, and breaking the bracket that holds the freezer door handle, not only snapping it in two but breaking it off the frame. Not a thing. Worse experience I've ever had what ever they cou ld do to stall they did started off with 3 boys and I mean boys. 1⃣ walked off the job an hour into it. Clearly they did not know how to pack a 🚚 truck. I had a 100 foot fire place turned on its side sticking straight up in the air all the rocks fell against the glass and was every where. That's just some of it. I would never recommend this company. They need to stop giving anyone with a truck a moving job.
