Fantastic job attempting to circumvent the liability and the law after crashing your truck into my house. I'd also love to thank AMS for dropping my antique furniture down a hill and destroying my 100 year old floors. Be warned , AMS is terrible.
Terrible customer service on all levels. They broke & damaged a lot of furniture plus damage to stairwell & stairs. Stairwell repairs will cost me at least $1900 & they will only pay $275. what? Destroyed 2 sleep number mattress, solid heavy wood furniture, a 2 story wall inside the stairwell is full of divots & scraps from furniture being dropped. Not to mention their unprofessionalism. They will only reimburse me $860 which includes the $275. The sleep number mattress was $3K each when we bought it few years back. Also, ... read more
If I could make this NEGATIVE STARS I would. But I’m forced to give them one just to write this review about how terrible they were. We scheduled our move date over three months ago and CONFIRMED NUMEROUS times for the date and time. June 26th we waited and waited for the movers to show up. 9am rolls around and no call no movers. They were late… I call corporate and speak to a very rude dispatcher Dolores or something like that… she just tells us the rescheduled our move out date because the crew didn’t finish the load the n... read more
They are rough on furniture, they don’t take care of the damages , beware!!!!!
I have used them 3 times and the movers were great each time, so it has nothing to do with that. This most recent time when I spoke with them, they did not disclose they have a minimum labor charge or what the fuel fee would be. They also told me that the moving blankets and what not would be free. I only had a couch and a few pieces of furniture to be moved a few blocks (literally), and it took barely an hour start to finish. I thought I’d be spending about $350 or so but they charged me almost $600 and charged me for movin... read more
They dragged my furniture, didn’t use furniture blankets on my table and it now has damage, and they didn’t communicate when unloading my couch and dropped it, breaking the frame. I STILL have not received a claims form to get it repaired and it’s been three weeks!
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING ALL MY SONS! We used AMS for a simple move to our new home 9 miles away. Customer Service on the phone was excellent and that is why we chose them. Said they would send 3 professionals with gloves and masks due to COVID and shouldn't take more than 3 hours for the small amount of large items we needed moved (we moved all small and medium sized boxes with family vans and trucks to save time and money). They showed up on time, but never wore masks or gloves and "lead" guy spent first 30 minutes on the ... read more
The movers were hard workers and did not stop until the move was complete. The estimator was very close to the actual cost and in fact the cost was less than the estimate. They also called during the move to see how it was progressing.
Never again Quoted $750 Paid $1360 Should have been 1 trip Took them 2 The movers were hot & sweaty & took a break on my sofa & love seat Lead guy I walked into my new kitchen & he was drinking out of the kitchen faucet with his mouth Very unprofessional My weighted cable machine received a bent bar on where the plates go up & down Tried to rebend myself It’s better but still not smooth like it was by any means I was moved from OKC to Tulsa 4 years ago with only 3 guys & same size truck with no issues whatsoever in 1 tri... read more
