Deceitful business practices. I was won over by the decent reviews here and the amazing quote but beware their hidden fees and poor customer service. Everywhere else this place has terrible reviews. My EXTREMELY simple job of having a couple items moved from my upstairs to the garage (less than 1 hour total) ended up being over $500. They say it� s a minimum 1 hour, but they charge a full labor hour for travel (???) which was $218 by itself + 17% for gas, another $75. To summarize: EXTREMELY disappointed in this company. Horrible customer service. Management will not speak with you if there are any issues. They will tell you everything is good and that they will confirm a day or two before� � that is unfortunately only true for some clients, but apparently, not us. I was very impressed with getting my quote, arranging the move, and the ongoing communication. I was also very impressed with the main mover (assistant was new, but also good and professional). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them because of the lack of pricing transparency and when presented, the final, outlandishly high amount owed. Absolutely horrible. I booked this company to assist me in unloading a 16 foot truck. Small job. I confirmed with the professional who booked that I would have 2 movers at 3pm. At 3:30 PM, I called and asked for an update. The dispatcher said to me ?it looks like they will be finished with their current project and be on their way to you by 5:30pm? No call. No warning. There was a lot of hidden fees that we were not aware ahead of time. We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment with very few furnitures and was charged way too much with almost 2k of additional charges. The distance was only 10 miles and it costs way too much.
Claims update: "All My Sons Moving and Storage limit of legal liability for the loss or damage to your shipment is $0.60 /per pound/article." This is from my claims paperwork. Even with compensation they will lowball you. With this limit of compensation, if you have a $4k flat screen tv that weights 90lbs and they break it, all they "legally" have to give you is $54. I would a minus 5 star. I have not purchased any more furniture or anything else since I moved into my apartment that I moved from. My last movers took 45 minutes to load and 45 minutes to unload me and they charge me the 2 hours which was fine. Unfortunately they were not available for my moving out date. So I hired All My Sons they were an hour late, took 3 hours to load me almost three and a half hours to unload me broke a dresser put heavy boxes on top of lightweight boxes and they broke a Sentimental glass of my daughte... read more
They did not pack up everything and said that their truck is full. They took 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel 13 miles midday without traffic and billed me for it. They broke my plates, and table lamps scratched all my furniture, did not put my sleep number bed back together, and lied about taking it apart. I regret having hired them!
