Did a good job, but confusion over the charge for the job. Was finally resolved.
They work by the hour so it seemed they could have worked faster. But they did a good job.

AVOID FICTIONAL ESTIMATES. The end price was almost triple their estimate!!! AMS was given a detailed inventory of the move (5 miles away). This is an intentional practice to give a false quote to get the business and then overcharge.
The actual move was ok but the cost was way too high. I tried to get an estimate like other similar moves. The hourly rate i think is high but I don't know their overhead. Because they are hourly, I was getting nervous about the speed of the movers. Quite slow. Bottom line, get a mover who will give you an estimate.
Deceitful business practices. I was won over by the decent reviews here and the amazing quote but beware their hidden fees and poor customer service. Everywhere else this place has terrible reviews. My EXTREMELY simple job of having a couple items moved from my upstairs to the garage (less than 1 hour total) ended up being over $500. They say it� s a minimum 1 hour, but they charge a full labor hour for travel (???) which was $218 by itself + 17% for gas, another $75. To summarize: EXTREMELY disappointed in this company. Horrible customer service. Management will not speak with you if there are any issues. They will tell you everything is good and that they will confirm a day or two before� � that is unfortunately only true for some clients, but apparently, not us. And it doesn� t matter how many times you call to confirm, they will brush you off. My 8 months pregnant wife called 4 TIMES leading up to the move date, including a few days before.
