Claims update: "All My Sons Moving and Storage limit of legal liability for the loss or damage to your shipment is $0.60 /per pound/article." This is from my claims paperwork. Even with compensation they will lowball you. With this limit of compensation, if you have a $4k flat screen tv that weights 90lbs and they break it, all they "legally" have to give you is $54. I would a minus 5 star. I have not purchased any more furniture or anything else since I moved into my apartment that I moved from. My last movers took 45 minutes to load and 45 minutes to unload me and they charge me the 2 hours which was fine. Unfortunately they were not available for my moving out date. They did not pack up everything and said that their truck is full. They took 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel 13 miles midday without traffic and billed me for it. They broke my plates, and table lamps scratched all my furniture, did not put my sleep number bed back together, and lied about taking it apart. I regret having hired them!
I was quoted one price and told something different when they showed up. Had the mover contact the supervisor before signing and was told there would not be a fuel charge. When it came time to pay, they charged the fuel fee. Supervisor was rude and ended up not only charging the fuel fee, but overcharged as well and refused to refund.
More upfront pricing.
They gave me an estimate of 700 dollars but charged me 1,100. He would not unload the truck until I paid him. He had kids for employees who were not helpful.
The movers were good they put the armoire back together wrong. Called and was told they would stop by to fix it. Never showed up. Still waiting. Called and got nowhere with the clerk in the office. This problem has finally been taken care of.
Customer was unsatisfied with the service.
I was not impressed with having to pay for wrapping materials and tape that cost me about $350 extra. i didnt ask for my furniture to be wrapped. my stuff was already wrapped and secured by me . i thought it took way too much time to wrap which cost me extra time and more money for wasted time. The company should have asked if I even wanted wrapping. if I knew I would be charged for all those extra hours or material I would of went elsewhere! live and learn I guess!
