Great food, experience, and super friendly service, my friend enjoyed her birthday with Allegro!
We went on Tuesday for their “date night menu”. Everything from bread to wine to dessert was amazing. For $100 (before tip) we had one appetizer, 2 entrees, one dessert and a bottle of their house red wine.
Amazing service at our business dinner. It definitely impressed.
Seating was supposed to be outdoor for a party of 6 but we were seated inside. The waitress was nice and attentive but then completely forgot to bring one person in our party’s salad and then dinner. Drinks were good, the artichoke appetizer was good, octopus was mediocre. Dinner was disappointing by all in our party. Chicken reminded me of KFC flavors, the cheese pasta wheel was underwhelming and the pasta was heavy with too much truffle oil. Dessert was ok. Overall, I wouldn’t go back…there are better options.
The high noise level made conversation between two difficult. If the weather permits, suggest their outdoor dining. Street noise will be less intrusive than interior noise. Everything else was exceptional. Food and service great. Roasted brussels perfect. Fettuccine and lasagna wonderful. The Pinot grigio went well with our meal.
I was looking for a unique eatery with good reviews to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday. This restaurant popped up and it's close to my home but what sold me was the other customers' reviews plus when I zoomed in on the ceiling I noticed Lemons hanging from the ceiling - well I knew this was God-inspired because Lemon-flavored items are my friend's favorite and that's what we gave her in a birthday gift basket so Allegro fit the bill. Had a great experience, with great food and service. Manuela was our server and she was excellent!
I forgot to ask for our severs name, but he was amazing! So attentive and friendly. He also gave the best recommendation for a pasta dish. The short rib ravioli and lamb chops were so delicious!
We loved the food and received great service. The oysters were amazing.
