Our server was absolutely amazing! The best meal we had in San Diego during this visit.

The BEST happy hour ever! Our waitress, Sunshine (yes that’s her real name she she’s an angel!) was amazing! She recommended the best things to try - the seafood tower and grilled artichoke are a MUST! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and delicious food - will definitely be back again.

Such a great place to eat — the food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
I would recommend eating inside, outside is a bit too much with so many people walking by and the floor is not all flat so having to position your chair very specifically as not to fall. The food was very average, not as flavorful as I thought it would be but presentation was very nice and the waitress we had was the absolute sweetest.
To be honest the appetizers were better than the entrees. Party of 8 and no one was overly impressed with their pasta entree. Was a little disappointed as this place was recommended but there are quite a few better quality restaurants in little Italy over this one. Party of 8 was over $800 and food was just ok. Allegro is one of our favorite spots in Little Italy. We took friends there for dinner for their first time, and they loved it! Olga was our server and she was great! She was attentive and quick to respond to our requests -- and always had a smile on her face! We'll definitely be returning to Allegro!
We loved our experience at Allegro! We had the anti pasta appetizer with the burrata cheese. It was delicious. For dinner we had the gnocchi which is all homemade. Our server was wonderful and very attentive! It was a little pricey but for a special night it is worth it.
