We were there on a busy night and weren't super impressed with the food but it may have been an off night. We have friends who love this place.
While we were looking forward to dining at Allegro, my party was disappointed. Our table was in the worst location in the restaurant. Near the main door with lots of server traffic. Our service, April, was lackluster. Seemed rushed and didn’t establish a connection with us. My dish was very good, but my companions were disappointed. Our server, who was from Sicily, made us feel like we were back in Positano on our honeymoon! We had the best anniversary and the quality of the food and wine was from true Italians that know what they are doing! The meats in the charcuterie were exceptional and the Italian white wine our server recommended was superb!
Staff WAS very nice and always saw to our needs and questions. Environment was the best and food was top notch!
We went here for a dinner during a girls trip. The ambiance was perfect for a good vibe, and ability to dress up and take photos. The food was delicious and the drinks were out of this world! We had a really great time at this restaurant and I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good Italian place to visit in the SD area.

Allesio was our waiter and he was fabulous. Nice portions. Great food, drinks and atmosphere.
This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing decor & a great vibe. The food was flavorful, delicious, & truly authentic Italian cuisine. Our server Alisso was awesome, he made great recommendations and made us feel so welcome throughout the experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and had an amazing time with him!
