The food was not what I expected. Went to Little Italy to have authentic Italian food. But lobster tortellini was not as good. Bread served was cold. It was very busy because of New Years so we had a fixed menu. Would not recommend for authentic Italian food.
This was the worst meal I have ever had the misfortune of buying. I assumed Little Italy in SD was line Boston where you could trust the high prices were backed up with wonderful dishes. I felt as though I was robbed. The only item we purchased that was worth consuming was the wine, and it was over priced. The Charcuterie-a heaping of nameless low quality cheese and meats. Out of 5 people only 2 in our party liked the food. Everyone else thought it was bland with not much taste. Service was poor, never was checked on during the meal, no refill for water or soda at all. Simply an overpriced waste of time and money.
Our server was below sub-par. He focused on all of his other tables. He never came by to check on us. Finally my husband told him to his face- he was the most inattentive server we ever had. To which he had zero to say. If you want to eat here because of the” cheese wheel” experience… there are soo many other restaurants to select from. The food was ok. Noise- Loud. Vibe-Basic.
Worst dining experience of our lives. They treated us like trash. We had a reservation for close to a month. We showed up early and there wasn’t a table yet which is understandable. We sat at the bar and waited. They came to get us at the original time of our reservation. They walked us over to a foldable table and chairs that were plastic. Allegro So. Horrible. So after waiting over 10 min with nothing but water I was finally able to flagg down a waiter. We got there by 6pm (6pm reservations) but didn't get our entrees until 710 pm. Our server said sorry the kitchen was backed up but the table next to me who was sat AFTER me was halfway done their food before we got ours. Very poor service. They did not want us there at all
Never got served by the sever and waited about 30 minutes. No one came to serve us so we left.
Just a place that caters to social media, very glam. Over all, the food and drinks are way over priced. Our bread was cold and stale. We ordered the pasta for two that’s mixed in the parmesan wheel with chicken on the side. The pasta was underwhelming the chicken was like rubber. The espresso martini is just khalua and baileys mixed, not worth the $18 dollars. Really wanted to enjoy a night out but we won’t be returning.
