Reservations for 8:15. Did not get seated until 8:45, and said seat was next to the bathroom and shoulder to shoulder with the next couple. As dinner went on, the server said his shift was over and he just left without a word
A fine restaurant that on this occasion was a disaster. Had a 8:30 pm reservation, and arrived at 8:29 pm to see a 100+ foot long line wrapping around the block. Checked in at the outdoor desk and was informed all the people in line had a reservation. We were to go to the end of the line (like at Disneyland) and they would get us in asap. Got in line (58 degrees outside) and after another 10 minutes we had moved about 8 feet. Did the math and left for another restaurant. I understand that it was a holiday, but service was nowhere to be found. Refills on water were never done. Appetizers came out cold. The limoncello cake tasted freezer burnt. The reason I made reservations for this place was their advertising of a Parmesan wheel pasta during the week. Also for their lemon garden outside seating. Service and drinks were mediocre! Food was ok, I was expecting more quality food.
Good wasn’t great and was very overpriced. They serve mashed potatoes with everything and the only substitute allowed was veggies- which were bland spinach and mushy asparagus. $42 for two not- seared jumbo scallops and 2 overcooked jumbo shrimp. The risotto was underwhelming as well. Would not come again!
Experience was underwhelming. Nothing was awful, but food was bland and pasta was overcooked. We probably would not return.
The pictures I saw on the internet are misleading. The decor is drab, the chairs are dirty and wobbly. The lemon room they are very selective about who they let in there. I asked for it, when I arrived the room was not full and instead I was taken to another table. The wait time for a server to come was also very long.
Our server was very nice. However, the food wasn’t very good. The gnocchi was soggy and all of the sauces we had tasted watered down with no flavor. The menu was a little misleading on descriptions…. The burnt carrots were soggy with too much sweet glaze. They also didn’t have much meatless selections on their menu. Overall, definitely not worth the price and was disappointed with overall food quality. I won’t ever go back to this place.
Very long wait time to get the wrong food ! Very disappointed we had to get up and leave
