"I would recommend buying a Square Trade warranty when making purchases. I bought Studio Beats headphones off ebay and debated whether to purchase the warranty. I was glad I decided to purchase it because about 6 months later the power button broke on the headphones. I contacted Square Trade and the representative was very helpful. The headphones could not be repaired so I was issued a full refund. Thanks Square Trade!!!"
"Surprisingly easy, there when you need it. I bought a streaming internet device and Square Trade Warranty together on Amazon.com. The device worked for a few months (comes with a 90 day warranty) then the video failed after the ninety days. I called Square Trade, they had me call Roku (the manufacturer) who reviewed re-booting procedures with me, proved the device did fail, he gave me a confirm #. "I was skeptical of the promises of SquareTrade but went ahead and ordered a warranty anyway. The time came to file a claim because there is no way to keep humans from doing something dumb or causing an accident. My little grandson put my Nook in the toilet and the water damage was too much for it. I filed a claim and within one week I had my claim settled and I was fully reimbursed for the purchase price. "I had a warranty with square trade warranty for my car radio that I purchased from an on line store, about two years ago. My radio stopped working and I contacted square trade warranty online and they asked for my information. Within about a few hours my claim was approved. I was asked to send the radio to square trade warranty (went to the shop that installed it , promised to come back and buy a new one ,they took it out at almost free) I printed out the free shipping label from square trade warranty took the package to UP... read more
