"I am so impressed and pleased with SquareTrade! The flash on my canon powershot a570is quit working Christmas Day - how inconvenient! I thankfully remembered that I had purchased a warranty for it an d checked SquareTrade. The warranty was good until March whew! All I had to do was press the "File a Claim" button and fill in a short contact form that explained the problem. It was over the holidays so I didn't expect such a quick reply! "In the beginning I was skeptical about this, but I said that the prices were good so if it didn't work I wouldn't lose much. I'm here to tell you "THEY ARE THE BEST". When I notified them about my item no longer working, I had a shipping label to send them the defective within 20 mins. They were so helpful that I thought they were going to send me a box too. "I've never been a big fan of warranty plans but decided to roll the dice when I bought a DVR off eBay. About a year later the DVR stopped burning discs and I filed a claim. The next day I received troubleshooting instructions on how to clean the recorders lens, which I hadn't thought of and hoped would resolve the problem. Unfortunately it did not.
