I bought a metal gazebo a year ago from Wayfair and when I went to take down the canopy for when the hurricane came through the canopy head dry rotted which to me means it was made of poor quality. Also I noticed that the paint was chipping off and under the paint was rust. I appealed their decision to not cover my gazebo, but all three times they denied it. I wasted my money and a lot of time.
After purchasing my gazebo, I opted for the only insurance plan available to protect my gazebo not knowing it only protected the equipment only during transport. Now I filed a claim and was met with the shocker that there is nothing Allstate can do.
I am not able to contact a person to speak to someone about a claim that I can't get taken care of, I sent a claim for broken ear buds and have not heard anything. I sent a chat and was told i would get a follow up but have not. I sent another device for repair, it came back with same issue. It was not repaired.
I had been working with manufacturers because it should have been covered under manufacturer. No results so filed a claim with Allstate. It had been over 30 days so they refused to work with me. Read the fine print!
My HP laptop would not boot up because it could not find an OS because the SSD was not functioning. I opened a claim online, filled in all the data requested and hit submit. I decided to take a pic of the Mod/Ser numbers on the bottom of the laptop. Flipped it over snapped the pic, all done! Did it online. Some what confusing. Was told 3 options, I selected one than they tell me that they are going to go with one of the other options I did not select. They were going to reimburse me . I did the paper work about a week ago. I have not heard from anyone regarding the reimbursement. They said I have to register for my warranty. I did ,and I received an email saying it would take 3 days to get the registration in the system. After 3 delayed appointments I am still waiting because parts have not shipped. Three mornings taken off work. Next time I'm offered a protection plan I will decline if it is with this company. Customer Service is awful and have no clue if the parts are in fact ordered. I can't believe you continue to ask for a review. I received more emails for a review than for my claim submitted. Well here's the review.
Reported a problem with my TV. Was told a local TV repair guy would be at my house in 5 days, on Friday between 8 and noon. Repair guy never called, never showed up, and his phone number was apparently disconnected. Reported the problem, and was told I would have to wait another "few" days before Allstate could get back to me. Still waiting, and no one scheduled to come. So no repaired TV for almost 2 weeks.
Have not settled problem yet. Still waiting.
