I had to get emergency tech service to retrieve laptop, diagnose failure, and work with Richard's Computer to install new hard drive and recover my data. Rick conferred with his superior who promised $349 reimbursement. You reimbursed $117.70, the cost of hard drive. I faxed Rick invoices as promised. "When i first got the warranty i did not see any use and saw it as a wastage of money. But then, after a few months of use, my cell phone for which i got the warranty broke. I tried contacting the manufacturers but they were no use. Then Square Trade was contacted by me and they reimbursed the item for the full amount! way to go!!"

"SquareTrade refunded me the entire purchase amount of the Palm TX I bought on eBay whose touchscreen stopped working after a few months. I had purchased the two-year warranty. It was a small hassle at first because the automated system erroneously rejected my claim, and then the over-the-phone sales rep seemed to be trained to reject claims from people like me. "The particular warranty I'm writing about was on a laptop that I purchased over a year ago, but I have square trade warranties on all of well pretty much anything they will let me buy a warranty on. "Squaretrade was great. I bought a used PDA off of ebay and decided to try SquareTrade, since they were cheap I figured I wouldn't be out of the money if they were a rip off. Luckly or unluckily my PDA died 4 months later I shipped it to them and they refunded my $175 so I can buy a new PDA which I did brand new from EBAY and I bought a 3 year new item warrenty from SquareTrade.
