"Updating status: A square trade claims supervisor contacted me a day after I left this post and reimbursed me the remaining amount for my claims. Thanks to the supervisors at square trade for following through with their contract. I was informed that they had discussed my claim and found that their wording on the contract was different a year ago when I bought the item than it was today so their customer service reps and I were not on the same page contractual wise. "NEVER BUY FROM SQUARE TRAITORS!!!!! I purchased a coverage plan with ADH protection for my iPhone and for some reason my home button stopped working. I sent in the phone with the prepaid ups box they sent me, and they claimed that I would have my phone back in about 5 business days if there were no special parts required. Square Trade received my phone on 8/12 and it is now going on 8/25 with still no sign of it. And what's worse is, they didn't fix a damn thing with it. "I was in Florida and my phone fell in the ocean. It was ruined. I emailed squaretrade and they created a shipping label quickly. I mailed in my phone and 2 days later they deposited money in my account. These guys back up the warrenties they sell!! I turned around a bought a warrenty for the 400 dollar camera I just bought and it was almost half the cost of best buy for 3 times the length!!"

"i am very pleased with Squaretrade warranty. Their price is very reasonable, they act on the claim immediately and great with communications with the customer to find out what their needs and problems are. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know. "

"The Square Trade warranty was much more economical than ANY store extended warranty -- no matter what store. The claim process was very quick and easy. When my $88 Blackberry I purchased on Ebay quit working, I emailed a claim to Square Trade and received a response within days. They sent easy instructions and a pre-paid label to send the BBerry to them. Then they refunded my full purchase price! "Horrible warranty! My phone was under factory warranty for 12 months and I had only had the phone for 10 months. Instead of replacing the phone or fixing it, like they should have, squaretrade reimbursed me for the amount I paid for the phone. The reason that was bad is because I paid $40 for a 2 year warranty and not they claim they fulfilled their end of the deal so I have to buy another warranty for the next phone I get. "My DVD player got to where it would not read and play DVD's, then to make matters worse I hooked up another new one I had and it would not read or play DVD's either! I had took out a warranty with Square Trade last year on both of them at the same time. I called Square Trade on 7/2 to file a claim for 2 DVD players at the same time!! The agent I explained this to sent me 2 UPS packing slips through email within 15 min. I shipped them that afternoon and 2 day's later they arrived at the center where they were tested. "After having Kodak replace both my 5300 series and then subsequently multiple replacements of my ESP-9 AiO printer, I finally just purchased a new one along with a SquareTrade warranty. The new printer began to fail with the same issues (color banding, missing text, essentially the inability to print). Kodak replaced it a number of times, first with refurb units, and then with brand new ones, but the same issues persisted. Quite frankly I believe there is a major defect in that entire product line. "Rain water got on my macbook by a fluke accident. Filled out a claim online and 2 days later was called back. I was on the vacation when they called so I didn't get the message for another 3 days. I then called back 3 times and never received a return call. I then finally called the main number and spoke with a different representative, who helped me out.
