Bought WiFi Mesh system from eBay which was protected by Square Trade warranty. Had problem with one of the wifi nodes and raised a claim requesting replacement. But the automated claim process offered me cash to buy a new one and let me keep the existing system. The whole claim prcoess was pretty quick and seamless.

I like receiving the full price refunded to me from my damaged phone. It would have been helpful to hold on the damaged phone until my new phone arrived (so I could transfer the data to the new phone and then send the damaged phone back).
It doesn’t cost much to purchase the protection plan and your garnered satisfaction with the resolution they provide. Just remember to keep your receipts in case they want pictures of it to upload during a claim.
