Had a problem with the TV, the warranty was almost expired, but Alstate stepped in took care of business, and now we have a new TV.
I bought insurance for my glasses for the first time in my many years of wearing them. The purchase was simple as I did it at the time of purchase. Filing the claim was reasonably painless. My one issue is that I didn't know how much I was being reimbursed for them until I was completely done. I was hoping to have had an idea sooner in the process. That said, I have now been able to purchase replacement glasses.
Very easy dealing with customer service, listened to my problem and took care of it right away.
The protection plan has protected me from a total loss of an appliance. I would not buy an appliance without getting the protection plan.

The item I claimed had been in the shop for 2 months and had still not been repaired. I tried multiple times to speak with the repair shop to find out the status. All they could say was that the item for the repair was on order. I tried to contact the manufacturer and was told they would check into it. That never happened.
