I sent my dvr in and I guess it was not fixable so they refunded my money. I am very happy with the way they handled my claim.
I don't like doing things on-line, I prefer real people to talk to, but it was fast and easy to apply online and got the response very quickly. Will recommend.
I have filed a claim a number of times and ALWAYS have the Greatest Experience. Each time was a simple and easy process to complete. It's good knowing when I buy protection for my items that the insurance holds true to their standards and quality of its service.
The technician arrived at the designated time and went to work immediately on repairing my reclining chair. He diagnosed the problem and made the repair and the chair is better than new and it works great again.

Dropped my laptop and the hinge broke... frustrated, but I remembered that we purchased the protection plan with it 18 months earlier. The site could not fine my contract, but since I had also scanned the receipt in, they were able to locate it within a couple days (over the weekend even) and I have my laptop back in just bout a weeks time. Will buy the protection plan in the future for electronic items!!
The service and repair/replacement of my cell phone was painless and expedient.
I normally don't buy protection plans as I've often fallen prey to technical details that limit or disqualify my protection. AllState was great at giving a quick service and when they determined that the product was not fixable, they provided me with a full refund. I will definitely purchase with Allstate Protection again.
