Contacted Allstate regarding washer under warranty. The wait time on the phone was minimal, which was a pleasant surprise. After explaining that my washer won't drain washer due to drain pump malfunction, they sent a door lock appliance. I contacted them to explain that there is no issue with the door lock, but they explained it away and did not send the proper components for the tech to fix the machine. I have a feeling multiple appliance tech visits are in my future...
Resolved my claim quickly
I don’t like having to pay for an extended warranty but the way things are made now you just about have to. Allstate made it simple to explain my problem and sent me a prorated check for the remainder of time. Once you get through setting up an account and password the process was fairly easy. Some of the screwy numbers they ask for is the hard part. You need to hang on to the box your item comes in to be able to complete your process.
