Never one for buying extended warranties, something told me to take it out on my laptop so I did. One week before the warranty ran out my little dog got caught up in the power cord and pulled it off the table. The cover came loose and couldn't be closed normally. The laptop started to overheat. Not thinking that the warranty was still in effect I looked in my file for a Help Number to find out where I could get it repaired. Purchased an extended warranty for an evaporative cooler, couple of years ago. This summer the water pump stopped working, put in a claim with Allstate Protection, and they reimbursed me for the cost of the cooler. Definitely a good investment.
They were very helpful and patient when I needed to replace my old phone.
Been a little ruff. But it's getting better.
