TV started showing light shadows along top of screen. Opened incident with Square Trade and was requested that I send photos of defect for analysis. I provided photos the next day and received a response that they had been received and I would be contacted with resolution plan or need for additional info. 2 weeks went by with no response. I had a very positive experience with SquareTrade and my TV repair. After steps were taken on the phone to fix the problem a technician arrived to replace the mother board. After additional errors, my TV was replaced. Along the process, I encountered very fair, knowledgable and patient staff members. I highly recommend SquareTrade if you are thinking about purchasing a protection plan for your electronics.
Out flat screen TV started acting up. We called our extended warranty people and after attempting to reset the TV, concluded that it was indeed fried. Spoke with a friendly service rep that helped me through the claims process and I have been reimbursed for the nonfunctioning TV. Straightforward and quick service.
