Did not like how long it took. First I had to go through where I purchased my laptop, then mail it to where I purchased my laptop to see if it was under their warranty, then they mailed it back to me. I then had to call Allstate for them to send me another shipping label so I could ship it to them to fix it and then return it to me. Filing the claim was easy, but I'm not sure it was worth the purchase. I purchased a piece of jewelry for 50% off during holiday sales and purchased the protection plan. The bracelet broke within four months and unfortunately it was not sold anymore, so I couldn't get a replacement. The plan didn't cover the full cost of what I payed for the item, nor what it would cost to get it fixed by a jeweler, so I'm questioning the value of purchasing such coverage. Besides the confusion with the label everything went smoothly and , the wait was a little long but that was no fault of them, they answered my questions very fast and gave me updates often
As always, I had absolutely no problem getting my issue resolved.
We sent the phone in and they fixed it and sent it back, it took approximately three days, but works fine.
My item was $56.00 after tax before the protection. They offered a gift card for $45. Then said they would refund the difference of what ever it coast to replace it. Why not give me a card at what I spent to get the item so I dont have to go through another process unless the item went up in price.
Very easy to purchase, register and much later, make a claim. Claim was processed within hours, and I had a check a few days later. Never had this before with any claim. Very satisfied with my experience.
I submitted my claim, received an email to call to speak to an agent. The automated voicebot sucked, but that's all of them. I got transferred three times, asked the same info name, phone number, etc....The third time I spoke with a gentlemen, who was patient with me, trying to read the tiny writing on my item.
