They were very prompt at resolving the issue but not being able to buy an extended warranty does not seem like a fair resolution after the last failure.
My son accidentally dropped his tablet and it broke. The staff was very friendly and worked fast to resolve the issue by providing a refund.
When our television went out we contacted SquareTrade and they had us perform a few repair functions and when they did not work they requested some information on our television and our purchase date and location of purchase. Once provided we received an e-mail from SquareTrade indicating that in lieu of repairing our television they were going to replace it with a like model from the same manufacturer. I recently had a TV that broke, the picture disappeared but still had the sound. I had paid 1100.00 three years prior for the TV and was disappointed in its failure. I dropped one of my devices and the screen cracked. I wasn't sure what kind of coverage I had so I got on the SquareTrade website. The process was step by step and easy to follow from start to finish.
I had an electronic device covered by Square Trade, but it was still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty, so I submitted a claim through the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Sylvania (aka Curtis International) would NOT honor their warranty obligations and kept giving me the run around for over 6 WEEKS.
