I had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued. First time at Ama’s Hair Salon and I honestly had the best time! Booked a consultation for my locs and Iara answered all my annoying questions and was really accommodating! When I got to the shop all the staff were lovely and Silas really made me feel at welcome and helped me figure out what my locs needed. Sheila worked on my locs, she was light-handed, quick, neat and just genuinely lovely! Another lady helped to quickly split one of my locs and add it to another as it was too small. I really did enjoy my experience. It’s my second time back. I gave 4/5 stars because the service was a little different from last time. When I came to amas salon in September, I got the same treatment as I got today. Wash, treatment, blow dry and trim. Last appointment my hair was a lot straighter and more silky and moisturised, I was really impressed This time around, it was a little dry and was a lot more puffy. Despite it being overcrowded, they managed to make it work. I was seen to on time and didn’t have to wait long between sessions. I loved the end result, would definitely go back.
I was greeted with excellent customer service as soon as entering, Ama’s warmth and pleasant attitude contributed towards my experience, definitely my favourite salon
I was very impressed with the level of attention and customer service received as soon as I arrived. Although incredibly busy, I was made to feel welcome and the personal touch by remembering my name was excellent. Every member who attended to me was polite and friendly. AMA and Silas especially, they asked questions about my hair and offered expert advice. I will definitely be visiting again.
Everything was lovely about my experience. They’re so gentle with your hair and really value their customers, always checking that you’re okay and that all is fine with your experience
Very professional and neat. The hairstylists really take good care to perfect their craft. I couldn’t be more happier with my hair.!
