Was afraid I would never get my items. John J Williams Senior Moving Consultant American Choice Van Line US DOT: 4284327 MC:1666003 Made false promises that cost me thousands. Lied about everything with no consequences for his action. He said my items would be picked up the day before the closing on my house. Items were picked up six hours after closing while the new owners were trying to move in. Lied about contacting dispatch to make sure they wouldn't pick up on closing date. Movers left items behind. ‼️BEWARE BEWARE‼️ This van line didn’t deliver half my boxed goods, wardrobe boxes broken into, clothes taken, boots robbed, soaking wet 3,000$ king mattress returned covered in mold, 2000$ (both Stearns and Foster) queen mattress returned covered in mold, even my Christmas decorations stolen. Delivery man Ahmad refused to deliver my furniture into house, claiming he needed more money due to 70 feet is all he had to go, had to agree to tip ‘his boys’ to get it moved into house (not placed or put together). Do NOT use this company! They will keep you informed; however I was told it was operated by veterans. The movers that came were 3 young Hispanics, two who did not speak much English. Obviously not U.S. veterans. American Choice Vanlines wants payment for pickup & for delivery. Special arrangements need to be made for using a credit card for pick & can’t be used for unloading. Don’t believe these 5 start reviews. This company’s is a collection of scam artists. Read the Google reviews for the truth. After over one month since my daughter’s belonging were picked up, not only were they not delivered yet, they don’t even know where they are nor when they will be delivered because they lost communication with the drivers. Upon showing up for pickup, the movers wanted $1200 more to move what she was quoted for. She’s getting the total runaround from company representatives. To add insult to injury... read more

Hey, I see you are answering your reviews. Since you have not responded to my email, thought I would try this since you are monitoring it. This is the Virginia customer, from 7 Nov 2024, that your employees stole my Discover card and charged $1500, all within 10 miles of your company in Fairfield, NJ. They also stole my StarLink and two small waterproof safes. I know this because they are not on the inventory sheet, my dog gates are, my laundry basket is, so is my trash can, but nothing as valuable as StarLink and safes. Fun... read more

This company is a scam. Avoid. All these reviews are fake. 1-star reviews are rejected. I put 5 stars so this can get published, but they deserve 0 stars. It's only a matter of time until these people are shut down and thrown in jail. They will take you for everything you got, destroy and steal your stuff, make you feel like it's your fault, hold your stuff hostage. Scam of the century.
