Absolute scammers. Made a reservation and confirmed the 72 hour cancellation window three times. I did cancel within that period but was still charged a significant fee. When I called they refused to return it but only offered a company credit. They are all about taking your money and care nothing for customer service.
Scammers I would give negative stars if could. Before signing the agreement which said non refundable, I spoke to Steve M Moving Consultant at Ryder Relocations who then told me and sent me an email that if I canceled within 72 hours I would be refunded the full amount of the deposit. Because I was still unsure if house sale was going to go through and did not want to pay deposit yet. But Steve assured me if I canceled within the 72 hours I would get a full refund. LIES. This company is a complete and total fraud, they are associated with Four Seasons Moving a company based out of Florida that has an huge amount of US Department of Transportation violations for loosing customer material, credit card fraud, insurance scams and not being licensed and bonded. They are know for quoting one price and then trumping up charges after they have your items. Bait and switch con job scam, never use this company
These people are running a scam! They give a price of say $4000 for the move, ask for a $1500 deposit , They make you pay with a check, always use a credit card, so you can dispute with the bank, they know this, and thats why they made you use a check. After they cash the check, they call and say they want $6,000, then when moving day comes, they say they want $8,000. Pay the rest or lose your deposit. This company is a scam. DO NOT put down a deposit. They quote you fairly, then triple the cost every time. They demand cash to unload your belongings. They break and stole my expensive items. All the good reviews are bots. This is a billionaire company with good lawyers and fine print. Beware.
The positive 5 star reviews are FAKE by company employees. My wife and I hired Ryder Relocations to move our stuff because the price seemed good at $2800 and they asked for a hefty deposit promised a 12 day delivery window over the phone with the sales team. Then, they charged us $6700 which is more the double than the quoted price upon arrival to pick up our stuff. There's multiple phone numbers to call for the business - which is a red flag.
