Had a problem ml with my heat pump and it needed replacment, found out ,they will only cover $1500.00 not replacement cost total ripoff.
They don't have enough company's that they work with to have someone come to fix a problem in a timely manner. I have had a power outage since Sunday and it is now Thursday had to pay a hotel all these days besides losing all groceries. Someone came Wednesday left an today Thursday and turns out the whole half of the house has no power still and all the lights are flickering and very dim. I have had AHS for 4 years and their customer support Has dropped off precipitously. I can get somebody on the phone in 10 seconds to get a quote for new service, but I get put on hold for 3 hours + to speak to somebody about replacing my dryer that is broken that I started a ticket on over a month ago? And their chat button on their site (if you can find it) doesn’t go anywhere. What a scam. I’m done. What a waste of money.

They send people out to look at the work needed and then to find out they can't perform the work and charge you the deductible . One has to submit payment before the work is done and the contractor gets to your home and charges for a "We're unable to perform the work because......." and they give you a lame excuse. Also because the company charges the increase of payment without even letting one know the reason why it is going up. Terrible experience. I requested service for a dryer issue. The Sears tech came out. The cord was burned and he was not able to check it until an electrician fixed the outlet. Sears noted they do not provide the part -electrical cord. The electrician came out and replaced the outlet. AHS never followed up with a call to me. I had to call every day with over an hour wait on hold each time. I had to then explain what was needed and told them that I needed a power cord. My issue still hasn't been fixed after 3 visits .. they are not tightening the screws properly on the tank and its constantly leaking or they over tightening the screws and put a minor crack in my tank which means you are paying for a whole new toilet ..
