In an effort to let customers think their voices are being heard AHS has added a survey at the end of the service calls which I can appreciate. But apparently your representatives have a work around to avoid and block the surveys to be completed and tied to their performance. I spoke with “Jamie” 3/10/21. She was very rude and continued to cut me when I was speaking. She told me that I am not the only customer which is very disrespectful. I signed up with this company last year reading most positive reviews here. I am surprised they have these many positive reviews. I lost my heating almost 7 days ago, all I have gotten from this company is runaround. They sent a contractor to take a look and but the contractor haven't uploaded their diagnostic report. The warranty company keeps trying them but the contractor is not responding. This shows how competent the contractors this company hires. Took them a week to assign a company to fix my hot water heater and when I called the company, they were not licensed to work with gas fired heaters.
Terrible service, lack of communication, won't return phone calls. Waiting a week to get shower fixed
DO NOT BUY FROM AMERICAN HOME SHIELD !!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ! PHONE LINE IS VERY HARD TO GET TO SPEAK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD KITCHEN WATER LEAK AND AMERICAN HOME SHIELD NEVER SEND OUT A LOCAL GUY TO MY HOME !!!! I HAD TO CALL A LOCAL GUY ON MY OWN TO FIRST STOP THE LEAK. AMERICAN HOME SHIELD REFUSED TO COVER MY BILLS. NEVER AGAIN I WILL USE THIS POOR COMPANY
