They send the worst companies to service your complaint.The wait time on phone is horrible and they outsource s service calls to countries where the people have such thick accents u can barely understand them. Seriously frustrating to deal with

Bottom line...service suck. They take forever to get a tech to repair anything. When even the most inexperienced person could tell you that something needs replacing, they put a bandaid on it. I paid 8k to replace a heating and A/C unit in my attic after 35 years and numerous service calls and they did not reimburse me anything. I wrote a letter to the company that fell on deaf ears. No one ever bothered to even call or write for that matter. Leaving and taking my business elsewhere.

It's been really easy to put in work orders, and for the most part the companies they've contracted with have been timely and reliable. Unfortunately one time there was a communication error with a contractor and they never showed up for their scheduled appointment. The status of my work order was that the company had tried to contact me and couldn't (which wasn't true). In this situation, there was no good way to contact AHS to fix the problem. I had to cancel the work order and restart

READ THIS FIRST: Up until your HVAC is the one up for repair Got this home warranty from the seller from when we bought our 10 yrs old house. Pay a $75 fee for booking the service and they send a contractor. I got to use 3x since May 2020 and all went well, problems fixed (electrical and overhead microwave with no out of pockets and an a/c freon recharge where the coverage AHS has to pay is only $10/ pound with me shelling out the rest of the cost totaling $375). Terrible customer service. They sent a person who took five minutes to diagnose the problem but then would not fix it or return our calls after receiving authorization.. AHS kept assuring us that the issue would be solved but it was not. We asked to speak to a supervisor but they never contacted us as promised. We had a leak. Ultimately we fixed it ourselves to stop the damage. We had been customers for 20 years but never have been dealt with like this.

Refrigerator claim 8/8/20. I had to do myself they didn’t fix it. Dishwasher claim 12/21/20 still not fixed. 2/6/21 water heater still no hot water in 6 degree weather. Filed a complaint with the BBB and Consumer Affairs. $1038 gone + another $500 to plumber for things not covered if it ever gets fixed.

Awful experience with my dishwasher. Waiting for 7 weeks for a part that never came and the technician visit was canceled. Customer service is a joke, incompetent, vague, telling lies, occasionally rude.

They are terrible with contractors and communication. Often, services remain incomplete and in limbo for months. Difficulty getting consistent answers and wait times on phone are ridiculously long.
