Because It took almost 1 month to resolve issue due to all 15 + employee I spoke with and did't do anything. They just took notes and let it sit there with nothing being done. I will only say that the last person knew excatly what to do and she even agree that ALL the previous emplyee didn't do nothing.

Too many price increases diminishes the value of the product. Increases should be based on historical claims, length of membership, etc.

I have a policy purchased by the home seller we have used them several times the wait time on the phone has always been between 38 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes, a maddening experience. Their customer service people are not empowered to make decisions and give the same canned excuses that they have to research and call you back in 24-36 hours and no one ever calls back. They hire contractors who are unqualifed or dishonest. AHS tries to find any little excuse to deny claims or part of the claim so I end up paying for it despite having a warranty.

I usually do not write bad reviews as we have our own business and understand sometimes people leave bad reviews to hurt a business. However, I have tried to cancel my account with American home shield since January and they keep telling me the retention department is closed. They have since charged my card on file 2 times since then but there are notes in the system that I want to cancel.
