We wanted one of our ac units to get a tune up and the AC company said there was a leak and claimed that it was a pre existing condition which I don't know how they could make that claim when we didn't know about it. So American Home Shield said they wouldn't cover it because of some BS that a lazy ac technician made up and we paid $100 and he didn't even do a tube-up cleaning just said there was a problem and said we could call them to fix it. I was hesitant at first to use them so asked my insurance agent about a home warranty. He told me about AHS. He gave them a great review and said it was a good thing. I have been so pleased. They helped me get a new refrigerator, cook-top, and new washer. My ceramic cook-top was cracked and they immediately replaced it with the same item as the original was still available. They attempted to repair the washing machine x1 but when the repairman said it was irreparable they replaced it. The original was no longer available so ... read more

Had them for over 20 years. First 18 were terrific. They helped us out in some difficult situations but last few years, especially this year, so bad we're likely to drop them. So sad how they've gone downhill.
