Amerigas is horrible, not American for sure. Charges for everything. Horrible customer service, all overseas. Do not use them.

Worse customer service ever! Entirely all their fault that we had no gas! Gave us panic attacks! Gave us the round around. All they had to do was send a person to do a 5-minute job of taking the lock off of our gas coming into the house. We had no heat, no cooking gas, no hot water. Could not cook, no hot showers, had to order out for food. We are seniors. It took them 4 solid days before they finally sent someone. Made several calls. Called Corporate Headquarters! Just as dishonest sneaky liars..won't return the federal ************* Lied multiple times about making appointments to come retrieve their tank..you will be so so so sorry! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'd give it a minus zero if I could. They should not be allowed to conduct any business whatsoever.!!

Thieves, I bought this house a year ago in April. No name on tank, called several companies no account for this address, nothing in sale from house either. Had tank filled 2x, in Dec the previous owner stopped and told us he took his name off propane account, we asked which company, he said Amerigas, so I called explained the situation and rep told me that when I needed a refill to call set up account or have them come pick tank up if u did not want to use them. If I could indicate zero stars I would. I closed my account - at agreement's end. I paid for a final fill, and I purchased my tank. It took more than three months, calling and speaking to call centers in *****, without satisfaction. I ended up having to write to the **** and chairman of the board, and sent letters to every US based office I could find until four days prior to our contract end - someone finally called and allowed me to close the account, purchase the tank (which I had to argue with them because they kept tryi... read more

Worst call center customer service in History. It should be illegal. Who owns this company? How do you get past the Rogue customer service agents to a real person that doesn't mess with your bills and deliveries if they are having a bad day?

I truly don't know how this company is still in business! I had been an AmeriGas customer for over 20 years, but this ********************** went down hill.FAST!First, I was on an annual auto-refill for our cooking propane tank, but no annual delivery happened and we unexpectedly ran out of cooking propane. I used to be able to call a local Amerigas office, but I have been told all of them have closed and now we have to call an overseas call center. I have been calling since 12/2023 to have a tank removed from my property. Multiple managers and associates have told me I'm high priority and service rep will be contacting me. Still have a giant tank at the end of my driveway!!

I just found out that they have been charging me $1.50 more per gallon than their competitors. And, I thought it was great that they were topping off the tank every two weeks until I discovered they have a $25 charge per delivery. And, I can't understand the thick accents of their representatives. I'm switching to R.E. *******. They sound like a good local business.
