Worse company I have ever had to deal with! AmeriGas deserves ZERO stars!! I requested their tank be picked up in January and it took through April and several phones calls later only to find out it had be rescheduled after rescheduled before finally being picked up. The tank was full of propane when picked up. AmeriGas is charging over 50% more than the market rate for propane ($3.609/gallon versus $2.539/gallon). I was finally able to contact a person in the ************* who offered me $2.86/gallon which I accepted and 350 gallons was supposed to be delivered on April 29th. April 29th is now in the past. When I called (foreign call center), I was told that a block was placed on the delivery. I called again and AmeriGas said they could reschedule, but at the $3.609/gallon rate. I cancelled Amerigas Service in January of 2024 after only a couple of months due to their non responsive refill requests. They have yet to pick up the tank ( 5 months) and even though they called me last week to pick up the tank today, they didnt show up and claimed the appt was for this Friday. Forget it Amerigas. After reading all these reviews I see there maybe a service fee to pick up the tank so may not follow through with pick up as we own the tank. We are hooking to Dominion natural gas.

Terrible customer service. When calling to request a delivery or billing quest the call center representatives do not speak English very well. Cant understand what they are saying. The website is not at all user friendly & they charge a fee of $25 to pay online! They dont post payments when you make a payment for almost 2 months then they charge $36 late fee. They charge $3 for each printed bill! They charge $9 fuel recovery fee every month!

This company is terrible. **************** should be a -5. You can't even understand the person you are talking to when you call customer service. My nightmare started when I asked them to come pick up my tank in December of 2023. My husband had passed away and I no longer needed to have the tank. I contacted them in February to see when they were going to pick up the tank. I also asked if there were any charges for this and they told me no. I have this in writing. 0 stars The worst customer service I've ever experienced. My mama died in Sept. prior to her passing I helped her pay her bill, Amerigas had just came out & filled her tank. She died 2 days after the bill was paid. In Jan. when I started cleaning up & cleaning out the house my *********** noticed a receipt in the door where they had came out & "topped" off her tank. Every time they fill my tank they always short me 10%. When I call to ask about my missing 10% I am connected to someone who barely speaks English and doesnt understand basic math. Terrible company so I am switching to someone else.
