Worst customer service. The tank looked awful in our front yard. Requested painting. They told us to paint it ourselves. lol. So we decided to switch companies and they charged us with a pickup fee. **************** said they tell customers this but they didnt. Cant even understand what they are saying due to language differences. They also said it was a $199.98 bill but they added $100 to that too. I would never go with this company again. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years.

Horrible experience. Paid for an emergency fill fee. Was not provided propane without the emergency fill period (3 days). Pre-paid online. After five months I still have yet to receive a refund credit. Was told the charge could not be reversed on my credit card purchase and that check would be received in 4-6 weeks (each time I called over the five month period). **************** said a check was in the mail or simple hung up when asked to be forward to a supervisor. You should be ashamed of your business practices. You withdraw money from people without ANY service provided. THEN when asked why you promptly refund ONLY A PORTION of the money you illegally withdrew from credit card accounts. YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!Just so you know, I will gladly tell ANYONE that asks about Amerigas exactly what kind of a shady underhanded company you are.

Negative stars if there were such a thing.My property had a tank that was installed by a previous supplier in 2009, which Amerigas acquired around 2016. The service from the previous supplier was always terrible (less than 1 star) but Amerigas somehow managed to take this to another level. Terrible customer service, terrible service, late deliveries, overbilling, you name it this disreputable company does it.On at least 2 occasions during the cold season in ** they almost let the tank run dry. Amerigas does not keep their promises to it's customers. Although repeatedly promising to notify me the day prior to ALL deliveries, they once again failed. Obviously they cannot be trusted to keep their word

They have no location to call in ************ *******., everything is in ***** or the ***********., they've had my money for 11 days., now I don't have propane, taking cold showers.

Horrible customer service; predatory billing practices, and price gouging. When I moved to my current residence, they had a gas contract with a local company. That company was great, but they sold out to Amerigas. This company price gouges, and when you need customer service, forget it. They are pre scripted liars. I canceled with them in favor of another small, local company with reasonable prices and excellent customer service (thats actually local). I fill a propane tank only every couple of years. To order propane Amerigas made me estimate the number of gallons I needed and then added charges to run the bill to over $800 which was charged to my card in advance The actual charge was about half that. To get a refund I had to wait on a call line for 25 minutes. I was then told it would take a week to approve the refund and that the refund would be paid by check. I cancelled my account/service with ********************** back in 2019. I have received monthly bills from Amerigas since cancellation regarding tank usage/storage which has been just sitting on my property for 4 years empty waiting to get picked up. I have called at least 20 times over the 4 years for a service rep to come and get the tank that is very plain site and easy access as we live in the country.
