I would give this company a zero if it were possible. Don’t waste your time, peace of mind and $$. Locate another gas company if it all possible. I’ve spent countless hours trying to get my problem resolved. The customer support is HORRIBLE and I still have a tank in my back yard a year after closing out this account.
Absolutely horrible experience. In addition to price-gauging I believe this company engages in other illegal business practices. Hope the attorney general steps in soon to put a stop to them. After being in my home for over 1 year, the tank that was on my property when I purchased had been emptied for the final time. They are absolutely the worst supplier I have ever dealt with. They will not call you back, and you cannot talk to anyone except their customer service people. I would advise anyone to avoid doing business with them.
I would rate zero stars, if I could. I live in the Las Vegas area. AmeriGas close the location in Las Vegas. I have been so unhappy with the terrible customer service over the last couple of years. This company is price gouging they’re charging me $4.99 per gallon in their competitors are only charging $2.89 per gallon. A company this poorly reviewed and incapable of providing services should NOT be allowed to exist. While their Executive are making millions, their customers are screaming with their lack of service. What gives? AmeriGas you should be ashamed of yourselves! Your customer service is the poorest quality imaginable! CEO Paul Ladner, do you even run this company? Apparently not. We had $500.00 taken from our account for a gas delivery we never scheduled! We do not use our propane that much so we have always paid by delivery! They claim we are set up on auto pay but cannot provide us with paperwork to prove this! They are trying to put the money back so this is solid proof that they did wrong. Absolutely terrible company. Overpriced, dishonest, impossible to contact, ignores your propane tank to the point it leaks all your gas, and ignores picking up the tank after cancellation.
I have been a long term customer of Amerigas. I had a local office that I would pay my bill at. During the COVID lockdown, they had a sign that people could no longer go into the office but they had a slot in the door. There was an Amerigas employee outside that said it was ok to put my payment/bill thru the slot. So I did that 2 or 3 times during COVID. We received an invoice from Amerigas even though our account has been closed for two years. Now we are fighting with them to have the invoice removed. We switched to Propane Ninja two years ago due to all of the other problems we had with their service. Do not do business with this company. Their horrible service could be haunting you for years.
