The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They charged me $35 late fee when I have had a automatic credit card payment! Have had it processed for over eight years, now one person says the bank declined the payment, another said I turned off the auto payment on their website. Both BS. Switching to Suburban even if it cost me over $200 to switch!!

I was under contract with a propane company. Amerigas bought them out and after a few months of bad service I started propane service with another company. I called month after month to ask Amergas to pick up the tank. They left their disconnected tank in my yard for over 5 years. I reached out to them during their slow season and asked them to pick up the tank. They subsequently billed me for $389 for closing the account and pick up fee. If zero stars was an option, I would give Amerigas zero stars. We purchased a cabin in ******** in 2020 and ordered propane from Amerigas because there was an Amerigas sticker on the tank and we were unfamiliar with local propane dealers. They filled the tank one time since we bought the cabin (we use very little propane) but we started receiving bills annually for $105. I called them and asked what we were being billed for. **Horrible Service - Avoid at All Costs**I had an extremely disappointing experience with AmeriGas. They are a company that does not respect their customers, fails to keep their promises, and employs delivery personnel who are rude and insensitive.I placed an order for propane on August 26, with an expected delivery date of September 3. Miserable experience - We haven't used Amerigas for over a year. After numerous phone calls, emails, photographs and documentation they continue to harass us for money we do not owe. We paid in full and tried to close our account a year ago. They picked up our tank with gas in it and never refunded the gas. They did not close our account and continue to charge us for service we do not receive. I am ready to hire a lawyer. I was in tears this morning on the phone. They merit a ZERO. They are the worst company that I've ever dealt with. I closed my account with them in January 2024. Still having issues in Sept 2024, and I finally paid them their ridiculous tank-removal fee of $300 (which I was disputing) just to finally get them out of my life. What a lot of stress they have caused over the last few years - poor delivery service, bad billing policy, etc. THEY ARE THE WORST!

If I could give negative stars I would. The customer service this ********************** provides is so atrocious and painful a root canal seems like a day at **********! Do not under any circumstances hire this company, they will send you to offshore support, transfer you over and over again, and no one will be able to help you until you call afterhours to get someone onshore. We used Amerigas because the previous owners of our home did as well.They fee you to death, and charge more than the average local rate - in my case double. They even charge TWO fee's to pick up a tank when you cancel! This should be criminal - if I weren't working class I'd take them to court - but alas our system isn't setup to protect those without money for lawyers.

Customer Service--REALLY!??! To date, I have now called SIX times to attempt to schedule adding another line to my, unfortunate, current service; HOWEVER, the first three times, I was unable to successfully communicate with the representative, due to a language barrier.
