This process was seamless. Overall the communication was minimal and only occurred when something was needed. I’m very happy with how quickly my loan was closed, Thank you!
Pretty smooth process although I think the team could communicate better with each other. I believe I received three different amounts for cash to close. It all worked out fine and we closed within 60 days. I would like to comment on the notary who came to our house for closing. He was very nice & efficient but he “licked” his fingers to turn the pages on our documents. I even commented to him but he continued to do it..... GROSS!!
For the most part Andrew and the team communicated very clearly. Occasionally there were things that didn’t make sense, but Andrew did his best.
Andrew lied on numerous occasions reg: closing dates; amount of money required at closing; skipping 2 months of payments when actually it was 1; he didn't indicate we had to close our 2nd mortgage that was being paid off with this refinance, we found out at our closing, with closing documents from the notary; a credit supplement was required on a Friday and I didn't know about it until the following Wednesday when I reached out to Andrew to check the status of our loan. Unethical/unprofessional
We had a mishap in the beginning due to the original loan officer we were working with just up'd and disappeared. We didn't get a phone call, email or any follow up as to what happened. We thought the process had already been moving along. We had sent it our W2's and pay stubs but after talking to our new loan officer Erik Bates the application hadn't been submitted. I left a vm to the loan officers Manager and he never bothered to give me a call back either. Erik and Andrew made it all better!
The process was fast and simple. Andrew Mortenson did a great job keeping me up to date each step of the way and thoroughly answered every question I had.
The closing process was a complete disaster. The saving grace was Ken Price who resolved the issue at the 11th hour but everything else was unprofessional and sloppy in at ever step. Not a pleasant experience.
It was a much better experience than the refinance I did a year and a half ago.
