We were traveling from Florida to Colorado and our little Cockapoo became ill. We were stopping every hour because she was vomiting and had diarrhea which became bloody. Just south of Nashville I began searching the internet for a vet that took emergency visits and would be open. I called Animal House and they were awesome. I have a dog reactive pup and they are so good about acknowledging that and taking him through the side door. We had a minor emergency and we were able to get right in. I have other animals they have seen as well and treated them like family.

Short version: Our dog mo had stage 4 kidney failure and the vet did everything they could to save her. We ended up losing her in the end but I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Cost is reasonable but going through what we had to it was worth every penny. The staff is extremely kind and caring. They called us nightly updates while mo was there to give us updates. We were out of town when our daughter called to say our "Fatman" passed. She was a mess and had to navigate the process of getting him cremated. Animal House did an amazing job taking care of his cremation and sent him home tonight in a beautiful box with a footprint keepsake. Thank you so much for taking care of him for us.

Came in last Thursday on emergency hours. My dog is elderly and started walking drunken like and this mama bear expected the worst. I called their phone sobbing and having a full blown panic attack, the veterinarian on call made time before a surgery to take care of my baby. (Only an inner ear infection) With emergency fee and medications, my bill was only $193. They understood my financial situation and explained each charge. I'm kind of between 3/4 stars for this particular veterinary clinic. Here's why, They are sometimes slightly unorganized and each time I've visited this practice my appointment is never correct. The receptionists are very polite but are quite ditsy and I feel like they don't know what they are doing. The cost can vary which is expected but I always call to make sure how much I'm going to be paying roughly each visit, however one time I was told I would be charged $65 for a new kitten exam, after my kitten received treatment ... read more

A little pricey but overall very helpful and did not attempt to be pushy when asking if it was okay to do labs or anything like that. Went in and was seen within 15-20 minutes. Overall turn around time was an hour which was great considering it was 8pm. Definitely recommend if you ever need an after hour veterinarian.

I was looking for somewhere close by to have my 16 year old doxie put down. We lost his brother two months ago and he was declining. I called and Stephanie was very understanding and considerate. She set up a same day appointment for me so I didn't have to wait. When I arrived the waiting room was busy but not overly crowded. When I got to the counter the woman who helped me was again very understanding and helpful as I tried to juggle my boy and get my wallet to pay. We came here to get our puppy her puppy vaccines and were greeted with 3 or 4 amazing ladies at the front. We were told to fill out a short form and wait for our name to be called. It wasn't too overly crowded and the waiting area was fairly spacious. Our name was called to go into an exam room and the doctor was really nice & gentle with our little pup.
