My dog chipped the enamel off two of her teeth, so I combed through vet websites in my area. I notice that they all claim to do some sort of dentistry, but Animal House was closest, so I called to make an appointment. I explained to the employee what the situation was and that I was interested in something like bonding or a procedure to repair the teeth. My appointment was at 2:00. I was not seen until 2:25. (That's not that big of a deal) My dog's wheezing and cough is caused by a broken tooth according to the veterinarian. I played her a recording I took while he was experiencing respiratory distress. She said it was hard for her to diagnosis it unless she saw it in person. Which the sound recording was very clear. I've waited for some time to write this post. Because it is in my nature to be positive I've struggled with it but maybe it will help someone save their pet's life. I'll start with the positive by writing that if you need a place for routine shots, this office is perfect. Stephanie at the front desk is wonderful and the vets and their assistants are very nice. When we first came here several years ago, they were very accommodating, helpful and reasonable. At that time we were quite pleased with their services. We have used their services for dogs and horses. Lately, they have become very greedy and unaccomodating. For a vet service that with other local vets servicing the Clarksville and surrounding area, they do not make an honest attempt to come out for a vet call. This place has rude employees but has the only vet that my dog loves. I only see Mary McClosky because she treats my dog like one of her own. My dog stays calm and doesn't snap from shots with Mary. Other vets wanted me to sedate my dog for visits because she shakes in the office and they thought she had ptsd.

Their supposed 'emergency' on call service took 3 calls and half an hour to get any real help. During one of these calls the clerk, Sandra, actually hung up on me. All the while my dog was bleeding in my back seat. If you need actual emergency care for your pet, driving to Nashville would get your pet taken care of faster.

I called and got put on hold stayed on hold for about 10 mins the women answered the phone and said Can I Help You! I said yes ma'am I am calling about then, heard nothing she hung up the phone :/ I read a lot of great reviews but my experience just from that makes me not want to take my baby there!

Just called them, got out on hold for ten mins then hung up on. Then I called back, got put on hold again for fifteen mins. I'm hoping it's just that they're busy but I'd rather go somewhere that's less busy and can actually take a phone call. Bummer because this place has good reviews.
