I take my pets here as necessary. I took both of them to get fixed at the same time (dog and cat) and had to leave them overnight. I called several times throughout the day to check on them, and they were so polite and understanding with every call! The staff at the front desk are very warm and helpful!
Stephanie and the front desk staff are awesome. Such a loving group and they really do care about my pets. They go above and beyond to make sure our pets are checked in and cared for. Brandon Butts and the tech staff are great in explaining what's going on and taking care of our dogs. Dr Holt and the other veterinarians are all too notch experts.
The Animal House Vet Group has been seeing our horses for four years--excellent care, concern and follow up--they offer annual farm visit clinics and take time to work with each of our horses and their individual personality. Last night one of the Docs came out to see my quarter horse and then called this morning to check on him--and he called the vet on staff today to let him know what was going on before we got to the clinic on Dover Road. I have a 3.5 lbs. tiny little teacup girl poodle who is the love of me and my husband. She needed to be spayed and have her teeth cleaned. I was so nervous about having her go under anesthesia because of her size and because I've read of some pets not making it through it. We usually take her to Banfield pet hospital for her normal visits but I didn't trust them with something so delicate. We are new to the area and needed a vet ASAP. Called them first thing and they were able to see our dog right away. The staff was awesome and very nice. The clinic was very open and clean. We did not have to wait that long, maybe 10 minute if that. The vet was very nice and caring. They did not try to push any meds or treatments on us that we didn't need or want. This place is really clean and conveniently located. The vets are really nice and helpful. The ladies up at the front aren't the most friendly people I've ever met. Their prices are a bit on the high side. Overall like this place.
I've had quite a range of experiences here. I love the boarding service, they welcome people to do a walk-through of the boarding area, and it's very clean and you can tell the animals are well cared for. It's very reassuring to board your pets at the vet, knowing they will receive any necessary emergency services. It is the cat's meow... When our dog Sassy became ill it was sudden and they took us right in. They showed us on xray that she had bone cancer and it was not just a broken or bruised back paw like we had thought. They were wonderful when we had to put her to sleep and allowed her to be in our arms to the last minute. She went peacefully knowing she was loved. They even followed up with a phone call and a card to see how we were doing after. They allowed our dog Trina to say goodbye also. They made it very special.
I just left Animal House clinic with my Westie and WOW! Thank goodness others reviewed this amazing vet clinic. I called this morning that my Westie was not feeling well and I had NEVER been there before. They got me right in. The place was clean, beautiful and the staff was OVER the top with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this vet to everyone and want to thank the doctors and staff for being so stellar and great to Farley :) April Consulo
