I paid $28,000 and waited a year and a half for them to fix the plaster of my pool. The tiles had to be re-done three times over because they werent done properly the first two times. The plaster in the pool is uneven. The colors are not right either. They do not care about their work. Do not hire them to do your pool

Our experience with Anthony & Sylvan Pools was extremely disappointing from start to finish.Once we signed the contract, communication and customer service declined dramatically. Our pool was one of the first projects started in the spring, yet it wasn't filled with water until September. Work would begin, then crews would disappear for weeks at a time with little to no communication.We paid extra for a dark blue plaster finish, but the pool ended up a light baby blue color that looked nothing like what we selected. Although the pool company did a nice job when the water was put into freshly plastered pool the hose was not secure and dirt ,rocks entered the pool causing significant staining . Project manager was not supportive and its been h*** getting him to help me get pool redone and paid for by water company . They told owner of water company stains werent bad which is a LIE!

I am extremely disappointed in the workmanship provided by Anthony & Sylvan Pools. After only three years, my waterfall feature failed, requiring thousands of dollars in repairs to resolve a significant leak. Upon inspection during the rebuild, the root cause was clear: the contractors had poured rigid mortar and concrete directly onto the *** body of the waterfall without any expansion joint or bond-breaker. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAY AWAY We are now going on 8 months with this company, and our pool is still not complete. This has easily been the worst experience weve ever had with any contractor.Once they take your money, communication essentially stops. Our salesperson became completely unreachable, and getting any response was nearly impossible. The issues that arose from day one ranged from contractors leaving trash on the property that blew onto the golf course, to Anthony and Sylvan having to repeat/ redo steps of the process two times or more. I initially told them I could not go through with the pool because of the cost of decking. They said they could get me the decking for the price that I could afford. 7 months later, when it was time for decking, A&S stated they could not honor this and stated " we owe them nothing". To say the entire project has been a nightmare is a gross understatement. So many things were done improperly and then made even worse instead of being fixed. The general manager himself described my plaster as "horrible" and yet refuses to replace it because he needs to speak with the plaster company. (This has been going on for 2 years.)
