I chose *********************************************** largely based on their warranty of the pool shell. Sounds all great until you have a problem. Our pool was built 7 years ago and we've had leaks ever since. Every time I contact them they drag out the entire process, each time taking months! They send a repair crew who isn't even knowledgeable about the location of the detected leaks. They ****** out and nobody checks a thing. I was excited to begin this project in late May 2023 and was pleased with how everything begun. However, a few weeks after the project start, the crew stopped showing up as promised, I was told that I had not made payments that I had receipts for and other mishaps. This was annoying but I let it go. At the point of coping, the project manager quit and I was not notified by anyone. I purchased a pool last year from Anthony and Sylvan pools The pool is 20 ft x 60 ft and approximately ****** gallons The heater is 406BTU according to guidelines from heater vendors we should have a 6000 BTU heater I have volunteered. To pay the difference between the inappropriate sized heater and a new one and they are no longer discussing this with me. Horrible experience. AVOID at all costs. I referred several clients to this company and am embarrassed that I did. They completed a new pool in 2023, for which the client paid a substantial amount, and they have had nothing but issues since. We submitted the first warranty claim for the pump, and it took over a week to even get a responseno one ever showed up, and we had to pay out of pocket. Started pool construction during September 2023 and still waiting to have the project finished on 15 May 2024. Told originally that the pool would be complete in 8 weeks!!! After 8 months finally got water in the pool. Coping was installed incorrectly and when subcontractor came to fix the issue, he brought no coping bricks and used only the leftover bricks from the first attempt. This experience has been anything but ethical and professional. Lets start with the first sales person I worked with (*******). She told me they were so busy that A&S required an architectural approved diagram and referred me to their partner to get that accomplished quickly which spent $5K. Then she ghosted me and I was told that she was in cahoots with the architecture firm. I contracted Anthony & Sylvan Pools in February of 2023 for an custom in-ground pool. This pool would cost approximately $300,000 to build. The first person I spoke with was *******************, who had committed to a May/June 2023 start date. I returned back to Pennsylvania in July of 2023, only to see the pool had not even yet been started. After contacting A&S, the process had finally started. I am currently under construction and regret choosing Anthony Sylvan for our 'dream pool.' Initially, they dazzled us with the design, and there's a reason they demand full payment upfront. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration when I arrived home to find my newly poured gunite shell. I discovered an 18-inch drop from the coping to the first step into the main stairs, raising safety concerns for anyone entering the pool. Over three years now, and Anthony & Sylvan still hasn't finished our pool! It was almost a year ago that they convinced us to let them plaster (to get us out from under all the construction loan charges they were incurring) and that they'd finish everything else under "warranty". That's when we discovered that the pool filler leaked and can't be used, the pool floor cleaner doesn't work, the spa jets don't work, and the spa water feature booster pump isn't even connected to the spa!
