Over three years now, and Anthony & Sylvan still hasn't finished our pool! It was almost a year ago that they convinced us to let them plaster (to get us out from under all the construction loan charges they were incurring) and that they'd finish everything else under "warranty". That's when we discovered that the pool filler leaked and can't be used, the pool floor cleaner doesn't work, the spa jets don't work, and the spa water feature booster pump isn't even connected to the spa! Id give negative 1 million if that was an option. By far the worst company i have ever dealt with. The sales are aggressive but make you feel like they will take care of you throughout the process. They are the pool experts but leave you high and dry once they get your $$$$ for the pool DO NOT USE. Im 2 years in and items from my pool are still not comple. Beware of Anthony & Sylvan Pools – a façade of professionalism masking a disorganized operation. Initially impressed by their sales pitch and 3D designs, our optimism was quickly shattered post-contract, leading only to disappointments. A glaring issue was their poor planning. For example, we were advised to build a retaining wall for the pool, only to find it impeded their plumbing work, forcing us to fund additional excavation. Never do business with Anthony Sylvan! I promptly paid my deposit of $5,000 in May and they didn't contacted me until they wanted to dig in October, blaming everything on the Anne Arundel County permitting office. I spoke with the County permit office multiple times and was even shown the records of Anthony Sylvans unresponsiveness. My Sales person Mr. Duffy was rude and abrasive to me, responding to my polite update requests in caps and angry bold font. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am with Anthony Sylvan pools. They installed my indoor pool in 2001. I had it refinished in 2016. Last year, November 2022, I started getting stones in the spa, they were coming through the jets. To date Sylvan has done nothing because they say they can't determine what the problem is. FINALLY, last month, they suggested that I contact other pool companies in the area to fix the problem. MaryAnne B***********

Worst customer service ever. We put a deposit down on a pool but have to move due to unforeseen circumstances. Nothing in the contract says the deposit is non-refundable. We have emailed and called every number but no avail. They are great in selling the product but any customer service there after is a JOKE.

I would strongly never recommend Anthony & Slyvan Pools to anyone again. We started with an agent by the name of Eric who after a few weeks never returned our calls. The communication with this company is horrible. They started our project in August 2022 and after one year and three months is still not complete. We were told of a $1000 referral program and after a referral was given we were told that program was not available during our contract and was issued a $500 gift card and that was after numerous complaints. Anthony & Sylvan Pools (A&S), Doylestown/Warminster, PA began our pool build in the summer of 2022. The Project Manager assigned was Harald B*****. On July 15, 2022, Harald B***** completed a pre-shot inspection of the rebar and plumbing phase of our pool build. Harald B***** failed to identify a significant oversight by the plumbers involving the location of the main drains in the deep section of the pool. Horrible craftsmanship, no supervision to employees, multiple returns to site without fixing problems. Contract work not completed to an industry standard. Subbed out contracted work to un qualified masons, Pretty much everything you don’t want in a contractor for a pool renovation. I would suggest using anyone else.
