This company only wants you to sign on the dotted line then they disappear. They said they will be out the week of 11/28/22, yet could not reach anyone to find out exactly when they were coming. It is now Friday, and we cannot get any information when they are coming out. The only calls appear to be questioning who is on the insurance check. Thank God they are not. The Customer Service Manager had a conversation with the homeowner on 12/2/22 @ 1:11pm CST and outlined the process and apologized for any miscommunication on Apex's part. Reviews on their site are inaccurate. Customers need to stay clear of APEX, they have one of the worst reputations in the business. I was told that my insurance company would pay for a new roof. They then wrote up an inaccurate report detailing damages that never actually occurred. They had me sign an Assignment of Benefits which basically allowed them to deal with the insurance company directly. My complaint is not with the workers they were very professional and I am very pleased with my roof. My problem is with the office they signed a contract that I didn’t sign and we proved it. We decided not to take legal action and used the company anyway. They over charged us for materials never used, when we refused to pay the additional charge they informed us that they were going to go after our insurance company. The salesrep pressured my Port Charlotte tenant into signed an agreement using my name. I have no idea what the doc is. They did not reach out to me. They started a claim with my ins carrier. The rep knew the women signing was not me, the home owner. I have called Apex 4 times and no reply to sort this out. I did cancel the claim with my ins carrier. BEWARE!

Every time this company puts a roof on in our neighborhood, they spend more time soliciting other houses than they do actually roofing. They have come to our house 3 times and we keep telling them to stop. This is a private neighborhood and soliciting is not allowed. They know this, but they always say they didn’t know that. The supervisor is not on the job site or the workers refuse to tell you who the supervisor is.
Two young men came to my door and wanted to push the fact is there was storm damage that my insurance would pay to replace my roof. I told him no, he continued to challenge me and wanted a rebuttal and he continued on, and I told him no and to get off my property, As he walked away, he had to turn one last time and he said did not have to be rude. So Monday, I received a solicitation knock on my door, offering free roof inspection. I thought, sure, why not? So they come over, do the inspection, and of course find damage. They go into the whole thing, about how the insurance company handles it, it only costs your deductible, and I wasnt sure. I didnt know my deductible, and didnt want to proceed until i had checked my policy.
